Questions

Do iPhones support Wi-Fi QR codes? Yes. iOS 11 and later and Android 10 and later join a network straight from the camera.

If I change the Wi-Fi password, do I need a new code? Yes. The password is written into the code, so print a new one when it changes.

Is it safe to put my Wi-Fi password in a QR code? Anyone who scans it can join, just as if you'd shown them the password. Use a separate guest network.

When a free code isn't enough

A static code stores its content directly in the pattern. Dynamic codes use a redirect service so their destination can change later. The dynamic designer is available to explore; its redirects and scan tracking are not connected yet. Static vs dynamic, explained.
